Read that race is inspired by this hollywood movie GOODBYE LOVER. i havent seen this english movie, so don't know how similar the two are. RACE had too many twists some predictable and some not too predictable ,so atleast it was fast paced, making it better than the recent abbas mustan movies.

Yes the brothers , double crossing etc. Goodbye lover is much more accomplished piece of cinema http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0119219/

hahaha more accomplished piece of cinema? Its just a B grade loadsa sex thriller man! Yes the plot has been copied but look at the irony of it all... Race(6.1) has a higher rating than Goodbye Lover (5.6). I quite enjoyed the movie coz it had been a long time since these 1980s styles movies were made and it was a welcome break from all those cheesy lovestories going around... and I actually went twice to the theatre to catch it! of course its not great cinema, just B-grade stupidity but it entertained me and thats all I care about!

Yeap...race is thousand times better than the cheesy Goodbye Lover...plus scenes are very different...Goodbye Lover is about romance mostly...race is focused more on the rivarly of two brothers...and it has a killer climax...it doesn't get any better than that...
