I was pretty disappointed with Alia Shawkat's character. I only watched the movie because she was in it, and she didn't have a single line! And her character didn't even have a last name, just Robin? I don't know anything about this band, but their wikipedia page tells me there was never anyone named Robin in it. Does anyone know why they made up a person instead of basing the character off the real woman?

Oh, coolio. I don't get why she had zero lines... But it was still a really good movie.

Both of those lines were said by someone else. Her REAL single line was "They said we'd have another room!".

I was like an egg rolling through time until I was 21. Then the egg cracked and I popped out.
she is an Entertainment Attorney now and also was involved in a sepeate documentary about the Runaways and probably did not want anything in the movie to detract from the documentary (as movies tend to use a bit or a lot) of dramatic licensing.
