The chubby guy who looked like his eyes were about to pop out of his head was pretty creepy and for lack of a better word seemed like a prick. If that's the type of person who becomes a trader it's no wonder all of Wall Street basically collapsed 2 years ago.
This guy creeped the *beep* out of me too. And he seemed to not be aware just how insane/retarded he looked the entire time, swinging his head and twisting that smile around. Ugh.
I couldn't quite get my head around him. Why would you go on a documentary like that and basically shine a really bad light on yourself?
I kept expecting some sort of comment, from him or whoever was interviewing him, to make it clear that he was simply mimicking some of the jerks he worked with, that he wasn't really like that but he was showing the attitudes people inside the company had ... but it never came. By the end of the film, I was still confused by him, and wondering why he'd ever agreed to this.
Maybe it was his way of owning up to what he'd been a part of?
You might very well think that. I couldn't possibly comment.
He definitely was showing his arrogant side. Maybe he was showing how the greedy culture at Enron started at the top with Skilling and Lay? They turned this guy into a bug eyed over the top animated trader who would stop at nothing to make a few more bucks for himself. This is why this documentary is so good, we get to see how the whole thing started, flourished, and then completely unravel!
