Mrs Green Singing and Dancing on the last number

OK so I watched the movie and I ended up loving the movie. even James Corden who bugged me in the trailer actually won me over. The songs are great and it had a wonderful message BUT one thing bothered me and I believe it was added for the movie as it was not on the stage version. Mrs Greene joining in for the last number! It just was a bit much and I wish she was not in it. She had that nice talk with her daughter, that was enough. Personally I believe she had no business being in the last number as it was bit too silly that she would do such a u turn. What she did to Emma was so incredibly cruel that I really could not care less that she loved her daughter and she just did not understand, there is no excuse for the mental torture she had put Emma through. At the end of the day she mentally bullied a kid and encourage others to exclude her so to me every time she showed up in the last number it was a bit of a kill joy and it made me cringe. Really would have preferred her to have walked away and gone home after speaking to her daughter.
