Kingpin is coming

Now we are talking. I am hoping he plays a significant role in this.

How do you know that? Who was the woman at the end of E2?

reply

That is the reason: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WPm00MSpZwE

The woman is Echo, the deaf daughter of Willie Lincoln, one of the Kingpin’s enforcers: https://www.denofgeek.com/tv/who-is-marvel-echo-how-new-hero-fits-mcu-phase-4/

She is clearly not the boss, so Kingpin could be behind of this.

WHOA. I had no idea they were bringing The Kingpin from the Netflix show in. So they are tying the show into the MCU.

reply

It seems so.

Considering how Matt Murdock is in No Way Home, pretty obvious they're just doing crossover bonanza at this point.

The "Uncle" was so obviously Fisk it's not even funny. The suit, the way he walks, the hand, the voice the cuffling. That's Vincent D'onofrio.

The King is back baby!

I've got a feeling that watch had something to do with Kingpin, maybe it was his, some sentimental value perhaps.

The Kingpin from Daredevil comes from a hard R universe, whereas this is shaping up to barely be a PG show.

I don't see a watered down version of that kingpin working at all, he had no patience for incompetence and he would be out of place with the light, joking tone they have here so far. Let's see if they can pull it off.

The first season is 6 episodes, we are already half way through. I am starting to think maybe there will be only a glimpse of Kingpin in season one.

reply

It will just be a cameo for sure. They don't have room for a major Kingpin plot in the last 3 episodes, Besides, Yelena has to show up still. He is supposed to be in the Echo series, so he will probably be properly introduces in that. They are going to use Daredevil and Kingpin to sell that series I think.

reply

I agree. If there is no season 2 for this, then I think the story will probably continue in Echo. They can't just tease us with Kingpin and do not follow through, they just can't.

reply

Barely PG, LOL.
