But you are not contributing anything either. We at least complained about a beautiful clumsy girl we think do not live up to our hefty expectation as the next Hawkeye, what did you do?
Not quite sure how did we get such high expectation for Hawkeye. Maybe some guys are just pissed off new avengers or young avengers are full of girls (She hulk, Ms. Marvel, Florence Pugh as new Black Widow, Hailee Steinfeld as new Hawkeye). Is there going to be a guy around? Maybe Moon Knight and Shang-Chi are going to be in the avengers?

Doctor Strange, Spiderman, Ant-man, Blacktain America, The Winter soldier and Hulk are still going to be Avengers. Shang Chi will be an Avenger, but I can't stand him. I'd prefer Carl Manvers. There will also be the new Black Panther, we don't yet know what genitalia it will have. Fantastic 4 is coming, will they be Avengers or not? Don't know.
Moon Knight will be part of a Midnight Suns team I think, with Blade, Werewolf by night and Black Knight. I think that will be it's own corner of the MCU.
Florence Pugh, Hailey Steinfeld and Tatiana Maslany are all good castings and they seem to be going in the right direction with those characters. So they will be good additions. Wanda is going to have a big part going forward I guess. I think the Marvels might be a cosmic thing like The Guardians of the Galaxy and Thor and be kept seperate from the Avengers.
Tatiana Maslany is way too early to tell.
Florence Pugh is a big hit, I think that is one of the reasons people want a new comer instead of Steinfeld.
I like Hailey Steinfeld, I think her tomboy look worked well, not sure of her fights and movements, but she is not supposed to be a martial arts master as yet, she should be amateur sports level at the moment.
I really didn't notice. An actors job is to act. Stuntmen do stunts.
shareI don't think Hailey Steinfeld is very athletic, her walk (barging in) to her mother's office is noticeably lack of form. I hope that changes as the show progress.
shareMan, I know the EXACT scene you’re talking about when she’s wearing the orange and black outfit. She walks like a lummox. I love the actress I really do. But I had no idea that she was so uncoordinated and duck footed. The scene where she’s running after finding Armand dead, I don’t know what is going on with her right foot but you don’t have to be OCD to notice that ungainly form and think there’s no way this person is capable of the martial arts shown in the other scenes.
shareThat run was with mask on, so that could be the stunt double, but why would they use stunt double who run like that? So that might be her as well.
Her movements are really the only problem I have with her. But that might be corrected with form exercise in martial arts. I really hope she invests some of her time in that, or at least in dancing, which I think practice forms as well.
You gonna watch the rest of the episodes? I’m hanging in for the whole series. If you watch it, let’s keep in touch on reactions
shareSure. I think the series overall is OK, it could be above average. It needs a great villain to be a great show (Dare Devil is great because of Kingpin), but so far I don't see one forthcoming.
