How they got away with PG rated?

It show attempting rape, people getting drunk, couple of S words, and some guy calling girl bitch! I'm surprised they got away with all of that in PG movie. This is the kinda stuff they could get away back in the 80s and not now.

I don't know how this is PG and films such as When In Rome are PG-13.

MPAA is weird. The Artist was rated PG-13, but this is PG?!

Jesus Christ, you know NOTHING about ratings. You can say "shít" many times in a PG-rated movie and get away with it and it has never changed!
ATTEMPTING rape is not that bad.
80's kinda set the mark for rawer movies. It has progressed a lot since then, the ratings have become better, not worse, you moron.
