i agree good for what it is...if they had a decent budget and with an upgraded cast i think it could have been a film that would have compared well with other similar films ie: a film like "enemy mine"
shareClearly very cheap but not half bad, I actually liked the main guy and the alien (mask) was cute. Other than that the rest of the cats sucked, specially the the guy with the long dark hair in the begging. I'm glad they didn't try to make the story too complicated or "deep", a lot of b-flicks try that and they just end up looking stupid. I thought this movie had a pretty good balance in that regard. Hard to come buy any kind of cute adventure sci-fi these days (I never heard of this movie before now), maybe they'll remake Barbarella. IMDB won't tell me if I don't pay them, like I would ever pay for anything on the intranets, that's like having to pay the mailman. Anyway, all in all I liked the movie, you might want to have a few beers and maybe a joint on hand though.

I was womdering what it was for this film while watching.
$50,000 for set, production, and writing.
$50,000 total for all cast.
$2,000 for medication for all the puking that everyone involoved must have had.
I really enjoyed the film too, up until the ending. It reminded me a bit of "Enemy Mine".
Call me a "nerd" or lover of "bad writing" and "cliche sci fi" all you want...
I also liked how the alien girl, even though she became a love interest, was given a truly alien facial appearance.
I totally agree.Reminds me alot of more of the older classic outer space sci fi movies.I think this is a gem.

Indeed, had nothing better to do. So i thought lets watch some ubercrap B, sorry Z movie. But when this thing got rolling i was like wtf, this is GOOD.
Some parts of the story are croocked, some of the acting even croocked more, the alien makeup and masks silly. But overal its one of the better scifis ive seen. Better then big stuff like Battle Los Angeles, better then District9, better then Skyline.
Watching movies like this and you come to realise, there is still hope for the scifi genre :)
