It's a comedy, youse idiots.

Why don't people get that this is is an obviously tongue-in-cheek slasher? The cliches are there deliberately. Are so many horror fans really that lacking in humor perception? I'm not saying this is a great or even good horror comedy, just that its elements of parody are pretty hard to miss. All these IMBD commenters reviewing it as if it were a failed serious slasher are hilarious. They'd be more generous toward the most routine "Friday the 13th Part XXXIV."
