According to cinemablend.com, this movie is about Elle's cousins, & she has no part in this movie...

It is a direct to DVD release as of now

not sure why they didn't take his name

uh they didnt take his name cus they're not his daughters

theyre obviously from elle's side, so their dad must be her brother

More like Elle's mum is the sister of their dad or Elle's dad's sister is their mum.

I think it's that Elle's dad has a brother, and his brother is the twin's dad. That's why they all have the same last name
