I don't care if they are real accents but I couldn't get past the first 10 minutes. I guess it's because I was being annoyed in stereo.

I couldn't even stand them in The Suite Life of Zack and Cody

It's a 'Hollywood English accent' for American audiences who are unable to understand a single word of any non US accent.
The only reason I checked out this film on imdb was to see whether they were English because nobody speaks like that here.

Heck I often can't understand a single word of other US accents, or even accents similar to my own if folks mumble or slur words. I've always had a cognitive problem with that for some reason. At one white collar job I worked years ago they put me on the phones . . . for one morning, until I handed the boss a pile of messages like this: "Mrs. Feeblewox called to ask if you wanted to narf plux".

I'm only 10 minutes into it, their accent is giving me such a headache it's unreal (although the headache only started from Elle's pink tinted house) I can't believe they are actually from England and even though this is the characters and not them- why where they so bothered about school uniforms, practically every school in England has school uniform, and none of them are pink, they're such annoying characters.

Presumably, they were looking forward to NOT wearing uniforms...like they've seen in movies and tv.
