The award winnning script for 'Columbus Day'

The script for Columbus Day (by Charles Burmeister) won the Chesterfield Screenwriting Fellowship sponsored by Paramount Pictures.

Burmeister's scipt for this film also placed in the top 30 of a field of approximately 5,500 scripts for the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences' Nicholl Fellowship.

According to IMDb it is scheduled to be in theaters in April of next year.

As a loyal fan of Ashley Johnson I'm hoping this film will bring her some recognition.

this script was great for an original. anymore it just seems to be remake after remake. I really enjoyed this dialogue, and original story. it really captivated me.
