How is it at no point in the film did they use their wrestling techniques to defend themselves? They seemed helpless and got owned at every encounter, even got kicked in at the nightclub. One was supposed to be turning pro?? Couldn't fight his way out of a paper bag. Only the chick shined at the end, although she missed a few chances to break free of the Russian thug as he was a bit slow.

I thought they same thing. When I was watchin this movie with my gf, towards the end I would say "its gonna come down to a wrestling match" whenever the main girl would run into another encounter with them. I really thought it was gonna happen when she ran into the doctor. But nothing.....

It just shows how stuff happens in real life, you might be a wrestler or a martial artist and you can probably win fights if you pick and choose them or if they are in a familiar controlled environment, like a tournament. But, as soon as you are removed from such environment and placed in to a unknown/unexpected situation, you most likely will either freeze up or start to panic. This may not happen to everyone, but majority will react like that yes. That is how it really works in real life...

sharepeople not trained at a high level of wrestling or any martial art can freeze in unfamiliar situations. if the fighters being attacked were badasses like Alexander Kerlin or Tank Abbot then the guys on the train are dead. but these were college kids here fighting for there lives and scared as hell

What made me mad is that they never even made the attempt to fight back. Not even try. You are telling me the testosterone filled wrestling athletes are not even gonna try and fight? That was the stupid part. Not if would have won the fight, the fact they never even tried.
