Just want to know is the story is same as the "Terror Train". I know both are Slasher movies but are they different from each other or is it a ditto remake of "Terror Train".

This was originally a remake of Terror Train with the Hostel ripoff vibe. However they decided to let this film stand by itself and remake the original with a more faithful version. Thats why its called simply "Train"

shareI do not think it was a remake. I had watched Terror Train before and could not see much similarity between the two, except that killings occurred on a train. At most this film took that idea from Terror Train but that was all. In Jamie Lee Curtis' film, the motive was revenge and not organ harvesting. Thus the reliance had been on suspense, and not gore. The killings were sudden and the main selling point was to have the viewer guessing who the murderer was. By contrast, the present film leaves no question who the villains were, and the only question is how Thora's friends would be offed one by one until Thora goes Rambo.
