Passport Stupidity

I found this movie largely entertaining in a gloriously bad-horror movie kind of way, but the part where the shifty idiots asked for the girls passports to "keep them safe" and she just handed them over with an eyebrow lift- it reached spectacular new levels of horror-stupidity.

How could she be THAT stupid? I mean, I'm willing to suspend a lot of disbelief for this film, obviously it wasn't aiming for the stars, but she was the heroine of the film, and we are supposed to root for her survival?...

This film was on TV last night and as that scene ended, I made the assertion that this film was a low rent 'Hostal' rip-off and turned the TV over. Having read this (really hilarious) board this morning, it seems I was right!

Last night I missed the start and therefore that scene, but for some unknown reason felt compelled to watch the film to the end. What I found hilarious was the cabinet having mini blinds. You had a lucky escape!
