Seriously?

No one seems to get that this movie was a satire of vintage slasher movie conventions? I guess once again it proves that most horror fans are not very bright, or alert to anything remotely subtle. They need to be hit over the head to know something is supposed to be funny, as opposed to thinking it's "stupid" because they didn't get the joke. Many of my favorite horror movies in recent years are parodies like this one that are funny precisely because they don't make it mega-obvious they're parodies a la "Scary Movie."
