I made the mistake of showing my kids the 1941 Captain Marvel serial a couple weeks ago, and now they are terribly excited to see this film. I didn't like the first Shazam film, but I'm going to take the boys to see Shazam Fury of the Gods, or as they refer to it, "Pazam Level 2." I was pleasantly surprised by Puss 'n Boots, but have little hope that I'll enjoy tonight's film.

In any event, I just got home from watching it. It isn't very good.
Just got home from watching it and like the first Shazam film it's meh. That still means it's better than most of the other DCEU films just because it isn't downright terrible.
It's made less than Morbius did in it's opening weekend though, it's definitely a flop.

shareIt will probably be bad. There are many animated films or shows with Shazam that are good. The live action DC universe is pathetic but the animated movies are great. Big fan of Shazam and Chuck (zack levi) but the first movie sucked.
