FLOP 💣
FLOP
shareMoronChat was named after you.
shareA random idiot poster jumps on a movie board and calls a new release a FLOP with NO evidence and NO proof!
its tracking very low , all signs do point that it wont make a great deal
shareSequels hardly ever do.
shareNo, Movie Phone and Deadline both have predicted more than average profits.
shareFlop, massive flop, i win again, love schooling you lol, next lol, marvel wins yet again lol

"Shazam!: Fury of the Gods" earned $3.4 million in box office previews, a decline from its predecessor's $6 million Thursday opening
Yeah, it's a flop.

OUCH!! SHAZAM: FURY OF THE GODS is opening way below projections with only $30 MILLION DOMESTIC for the weekend! The first SHAZAM opened much bigger with $53.5 MILLION in 2019! In an age where sequels usually open bigger than their predecessors, WHAT HAPPENED HERE?
30.5m opening domestic / 65.5m worldwide
be lucky to clear 200m ww total.
This is kind of a mega flop. This movie can't possibly be that bad. This is definitely superhero fatigue.
shareI think as well it's that audiences know that the DCEU is getting rebooted, it almost makes these last few Snyderverse films seem pointless.
To have an opening weekend taking to be less than Morbius though is still surprising considering the film isn't anywhere near as bad as Morbius.
I personally can't stand Shazam as a character, I was never gonna see this. I won't even buy a comic book if he pops up in it. Trailers made this thing look like Power Rangers. Like real young on the target audience demo. Lot of people may have went to see the first one but that doesn't mean they liked it. Very curious to see how Aquaman 2 does. I think that will be a better test for if audiences will embrace a film without a future. First one made a billion bux.
shareThere is no such thing as superhero fatigue. This is bad movie fatigue.
shareI would say "Superhero Indifference". There is nothing about Shazam that means anything in the genre for DC. Black Adam made sure of that.
share"Shazam! CGI of the Gods." Just replace some word in the subtitle of any superhero movie with "CGI" and you will get the idea.
