Opening sequence and already it's too preposterous to bear.

*Spoilers episode 1.*

I watched last night on the DVR and of course the whole thing starts off with epically stupid actions by a lead character to create suspense. Stowaway in the luggage area on the underside of the bus, but don't bother to secure the strap webbing. This from someone who has grown up post Zombie Apocalypse. So stupid from the get go.

Then the kid who has been leaving the campus regularly to search for an item over an extended time stumbles over it on a random street, in the dark, among a whole road full of detritus strewn about. Ugh.

And when he finds it, takes off his pack, kneels down, tells everyone else to go on, he'll catch up. I can see how this is going to be.
