What? *Spoilers*

Just, I'm completely lost.
First off, why kill the boy and Lo? They didn't even know anything. I understand they wanted earring but the kid was absolutely clueless anyway.

What was the point of the threesome, and Lo's guilt about it?

Why didn't the drug dealer just leave the room after the business man killed that woman, instead of getting even more involved? That guy would've gotten busted, and case closed probably...

What's with the cupcakes?
It doesn't even really have a purpose. She randomly tells her boyfriend that she was with a guy that called her cupcake (why?)
and then they send her dad cupcakes (okay, as the 'blackmail') but still... obviously no one had been trying to figure out the case anyway!

And why was the motel guy so odd? Seemed like he knew something.

I don't know. I just feel like I wasted time on this one.
I was hoping for something a little more interesting, and a little more... Well, mainly just more interesting!

They were paranoid. Didn't want to leave any loose ends.

Her father molested her. It was implied that she had "issues" because of this that led to the threesome.

Good question. I wondered this too. I suppose he thought the guy would screw something up and it would lead back to him, so he wanted to make sure everyone got done.

Her father was the one that called her Cupcakes and she must have mentioned that in her diary. It was just a symbolic way of showing that they really had her diary.

he just seemed annoyed to me. They said the father had been back there a bunch of times. He was probably just tired of dealing with it.
