I don't get the good reviews on this movie. It was so darn boring and the end is her father had sex with her. Well, what happened to her? Did the drug dealer kill her? Why? I'm lost. What was the point of the guy wanting the date rape drug? I just didn't get this movie at all.

We didn't actually see it happen but we know it happened because (a) it was the obvious thing for them to do, since she was an eyewitness to their murder (and they were willing to kill for much less than that), (b) there was a body lying on the floor and I think one of the guys said "pick her up" (and her boyfriend's body could have been outside the picture or already out in the car), and (c) otherwise it doesn't make any sense that she wouldn't contact her parents.
The guy wanted the date rape drug because he wanted to have sex with the woman but he thought -- probably correctly -- that she'd never consent. And he was a callous and selfish guy. He was a rather realistic character. Why do you think people use date rape drugs in general?
I thought it was great. Really engrossing. it seems like a lot folks were confused by it though. It was fairly straight forward to me. the drug dealer and the rapist killed them because they were paranoid they might suspect something with the bloody ear ring. Then they found her diary which must have said her father molested her, so they used that to quiet the father, make him stop pursuing the case.
