shareFantastic images, agree.
shareSome of it was CGI obviously, but I agree.. not as amazing as David Attenborough's The Blue Planet, but still quite an amazing fresh collection of clips, excellent in HD on youtube, probably the best quality I've ever seen on Youtube
shareIt was pretty amazing. It reminded me of the BBC's Planet Earth series from a few years back.
shareSimply amazing. I wish they would release photos with location names. I would really appreciate visiting many of those places one day.
** Guys, just visited the movies homepage: http://www.home-2009.com. You can get all images and locations and much more info there. It's great! **
It's an amazing documentary! At first I thought it was Sigourney Weaver doing the narrating, but now I see it's Glenn Close. She has a great voice for documentaries.
The shots at the end showing all the countries are breathtaking.
"You cannot find peace by avoiding life"
to Akayz : There is no CGI effects in this documentary. All are true images. Arthus-Bertrand is very famous for his beautiful (and "natural" ^^) cinematography.
It was a very interesting movie (planning to see it in theater). Maybe a little too "distant". But I'm agree about the shots at the end : very moving.
(sorry for my English...)
True, but yet don't you just hate him for not making a IMAX version of it?
shareim sorry, bit the images are not "true images". almost every single frame of the film has undergone heavy post production. what you see is never what you would see in real life. the colours in this film are "hyper reality" at best.
shareExcept you don't know how much of it is fake, they clearly added colors and computer graphics. So perhaps most of it is just fake.
