What is the best version of Alice in Wonderland so far?

I swear I saw a really good animated version which was based off the original animations used in Lewis Carroll's book. Can't seem to track it though

In my opinion, the best adaptation of was the 1999 one with Martin Short as the Hatter. It followed the book, even with some editions of Looking Glass characters like the Tweedles and the White Knight.

The best version is still the book by a LOOOOOOOONG shot.

The 1933 version with Charlotte Henry. It's magical.

I think the 1951 Disney version is the best. Really captured the spirit of the work. And I also like the weird ass Russian one from the 80s that's just called Alice

My favorite versions of Alice in Wonderland are Alice (2009 TV miniseries), Once Upon a Time in Wonderland, and the Time Burton movie. The 1951 movie was pretty good as well.

If it's all the same to you, I'll have that drink now.-Loki (Marvel's Avengers)

The made for TV version with Martin Short as the Mad Hatter, Whoopi Goldberg as the Cheshire Cat and Gene Wilder.

Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers video for "Don't Come Around Here No More".

(But I like this version, too)

As a couple of other people said, the 1999 version has always been my favorite. I am a little biased however, because that is the version I grew up with & was obsessed with all throughout my childhood. Něco z Alenky (1988) by the Czech director Jan Švankmajer is also one of my absolute favorite films ever.
