Why u guys are criticizing this movie?

Everyone is saying that this is not an original movie. Ok Fine but you should keep in mind that adaption also requires skills and the director directed the movie preety well. Vinay Pathak did an awesome performance, This movie is thousand time better than those stupid Karan Johar Movies ppl like.

For those who dont know French language will they enjoy "Dinner Game" the same with sub titles? The answer is NO. Subtitles cant give that flavour which we get in Hindi in Bheja Fry.

There is a trend that people use to hit only Asian movies (example Bollywood). I am not an Indian but a big Indian movie fan and being a Pakistani I must say that this movie rocks. No Dirty jokes, No flith (Usualy in comic movies ppl like). This movie will remain the best in my all time favourites. Its a must watch if u like comedies like "Angoor" "Gol Mal" "Khata Meetha" "Baton Baton main" "Kissi sey na Kehna". I bet you will not repent.

Speaking as a non-French speaker who watched "The Dinner Game" before "Bheja Fry" was made, the answer to your question is a resounding YES. The French movie is brilliant.

Anyway, even if I'm not able to appreciate all of the nuances, I'd much rather watch the original than allow a cheap and shameless knock-off movie to get my money. The reason this movie is being criticized is not because it's not original - everybody makes remakes, it's part of the movie business. But it's illegal, immoral and downright disgusting to PRETEND the movie is original when it's a remake, and to not give credit and/or royalties to the original writers.

How dare they even write their names as WRITERS of this film when the play was written by Veber, the screenplay was written by Veber?

This is unbelievably shameful and disgusting to even think that Sagar Ballary and Arpita Chatterjee are taking credits for something they did not even create.

How can they cheat themselves?????

Kashif, being a Pakistani I am pretty sure you know what matherchode means. To me that's pretty dirty and filthy. I have never seen any other Hindi movie besides monsoon wedding where such vulgarity has been used.
