How is Letty still alive in 6?!

I haven't seen Fast 6 since it came out last year. But now having just watched the 4th one, where she 'dies' I can fill in the gaps for you. In part 6, they explain via flashback that Letty wasn't shot. I think there was an explosion before Fennix was going to shoot her. That explosion blew her off the side of the road and that's where Shaw picked her up and put Letty on his crew.

The vehicle explosion didn't kill her, it only knocked her down and wounded her. She lost her memory. It's been sometime since I last saw 4, so was there a coffin?

Her death was only assumed in Fast and Furious Four, in a post-credits scene in Fast Five, Monica Fuentes from 2 Fast 2 Furious hands Hobbs a file regarding a military convoy jacking in Berlin. Thinking it's Dominic Toretto, he becomes intrigued, but Monica informs him that he is not the one in the file. Hobbs refuses, but Monica encourages him to look at the file, and he sees a photo of Letty in the file. Fuentes then asks if she believes in ghosts. In Furious 6, she survived the explosion, and Owen Shaw takes advantage of her having amnesia by recruiting her onto his team in London, and of course Berlin. Soon after they arrive at the Canary Islands, she is saved by Dom.
