Of the 6 Fast films made, what are your 2 current favorite ones and why?

Of the 6 Fast films made so far, what are currently your 2 favorite ones and please separately say why for each one named (as in for the acting, script - story, direction and/or any other factors you consider most relevant). Please don't answer, without saying why.

I like 6 the best because it is the most intense, a good story snd I think owen shaw is the best villain yet. Fast 5 comes in a close second because Hobbs makes a really good anti-hero type character and I like how they brought together characters from all the movies to make a team. Rio was a good setting too and so was London.

Fast Five and Fast & Furious.

4 and 5 are my favorite. 6 was good, but a little over the top. They drifted way out of reality in that one. I like 4 because it is the most character driven of the series. You really get to know Toretto in 4. 5 was just totally awesome in every way. Great action, Hobbs was a real boost to the series. The final action scene where Toretto charges at the cops coming after them and knocks them off the bridge was incredible.

The original and IV for being the truest sequel in the series.

The original just because it's a solid flick that somehow worked and part 6 because it had it all - action, laughs, and character moments. The story wasn't needlessly complicated like the 4th. I just thought it was a worthy sequel. Every character is given something to do. I didn't like 4 at all. Also didn't like Tokyo drift either.

Fast & Furious because I feel it has the most solid direction and acting as well as some decent suspense.

Fast & Furious 6 because it's such a fun movie and the action is non-stop over-the-top insanity.

My least favorite is actually the very first. I still watch it on occasion, but I struggle to get through parts of it. Putting aside the fact that its plot is unapologetically No Man's Land mashed with Point Break (as many other folks have pointed out), it just takes itself way too seriously while coming across as totally cornball. It definitely has some of the worst acting and dialogue in the whole franchise.

People rip on the second film for being lame and cheesy... but it at least has a sense of humor and fun about it. The first one is really only re-watchable because of the action set pieces and to see how the story begins for the main group of characters.

1 & 5

Of the 6 made this far, I'd have to say the initial entry - Fast & Furious 1 & Fast V.

I particularly like Fast Five when the Rock's brain rolls into action and he works out that they've pulled a switcheroo with the safes, and he gives a good, hearty The Rock laugh. It's one of the classic moments of the series.
