A decent film, but my pick for the worst in the series

Mostly because of the cave sequences. Very fake looking and unpolished. It looked like a PS3 game.

The other part I didn't care for was Vin playing the role of CSI when examining the stretch of road where Lettie was "killed." Flashbacks to the wreck and shooting like he could see it all happen.

I still liked the film okay, but the parts I mentioned make it the worse in the series as far as I'm concerned.

My order:

1, 5, 6, 3, 2, 4.

Conquer your fear, and I promise you, you will conquer death.

It's not great, although to be fair I don't like any of them apart from the first one. The second one was like a reject Lethal Weapon script with a bit of car-racing thrown in; just an utterly bland and forgettable sequel. I was looking forward to the third one when I heard it was getting back to street racing, but the races were boring, the lead actor looked like he belonged behind the counter at MacDonalds and the Tokyo locations were devoid of atmosphere. It was just a bit naff really. I welcomed the return of the original cast for the fourth one but it was basically a remake of the second; another boring drug-dealer story with a bit of car-chasing shoehorned in. I refused to watch any more of them because it just encourages them to keep making them. The problem is F&F is a concept movie not a formula movie and only the first one has been true to the concept. It's a modern classic of sorts.

I was actually thinking it was a nice touch to the tell the audience what the F happened to Letty. Shows the story, the skill of Vin and I've never seen it filmed like this.

Good point. It was a good way to show what happened to Letty, but it seemed a little strange for Vin to be going full CSI on it.

Conquer your fear, and I promise you, you will conquer death.

I can see what you mean. It felt ok for what happened with the cars and everything, but I don't think he could have known after that (I won't write what, spoiler wise)

After seeing 7 today, I feel in comparison this 4th entry was misjudged. It had a better story, better acting and took itself seriously. Out of the sequels my favourites are 3, 4 and 5 because they feel less goofy, although I can take the first half of 6 serious. The films seem to be going in a silly very ott direction, they are becoming parodies of them selves.
