Cameron Diaz looking old

Looking a bit old in this, She's still good looking but losing her look slightly. I mean she starting too look mid 40's now.

reply

People age. Fact of life and death. Her smile is as youthful as ever, though, I will give her that...

reply

Nah I think she looks as good as ever.

reply

She looks fine to me.

reply

I thought she was beautiful. And a wonderful smile. People have such unrealistic expectations on female actresses. I never hear anyone complain about Tom Cruise's wrinkles, although he certainly has some too.

reply

Why hasn't she done anything about that nose though, it looks very messed up. She used to look great before her accident.

reply

Everybody expects her took like she did in The Mask forever. She still looked better than most women her age in this

reply

Then you obviously haven't seen "The Mask"... she was georgeous in that movie and although she still cute, she's nothing like she used to be, but really who is..

reply

She still looks lovely. But I cant help thinking back to that first scene from "The Mask". I think she had a little more flesh on her face...that made the difference for me at least...Her face is too bony now, kind of makes her look older.

reply

'The Mask' was the first time I saw Cameron Diaz - and she was so strikingly beautiful. Today, she has aged really well. I envy her physique but I know she works like hell to keep it taut!

reply

Nah, I don't really think so. Here's the thing. She has a different facial structure from Tom's. Her mestizo blood has given her a somewhat flat face with high cheek bones. Every facial type requires some variation in lighting to look its best. She looks fine in shots by herself. When paired with Cruise in the same shots--and this is most easily seen on the cheesy second poster they released--she looks puffy. I think its just lighting. Whenever Tom is in the shot, they light for Tom "The Star" and not for Diaz. There's a lot of splash light about to make him look good. Lighting to make him look good is essential now since he has aged and had plastic surgery. I think Diaz is hanging on much better and that will show up in another film without Cruise -- one where she is properly lit.

reply

I, for one, am impressed with your knowledge of lighting and such, keystone29798.

reply

I don't think she has much mestizo blood, Cubans are mostly Spanish. She looks totally white.

reply

That's interesting. I noticed she was better lit in several shots than in much of the film - when she did happen to be alone in the frame - but it didn't occur to me that they could and would light for the bigger star.

reply

After all she is 37 becoming 38 on August 30th, I think she looks good!

reply

Yeah 38 is sooooooo ooooooold, lol

She looks old for 38. More like 48. It's called drinking and smoking with a lifetime of covering yourself in chemicals such as makeup and hair products. Only meth can age you faster.

Tom is 10 years older than her and she looked older than him in this movie. Especialy her hands...

reply

totally agree!

reply

she looks way older than 37 in this movie.

reply

You probably need to get out and ask women their age more then...

Some women age very well, some not so. She's better than average.

reply

She looked pretty good in the red bikini

reply

That might be right if you live in a country where you can buy a car with 2 american dollars.

reply

Well I hope she doesnt get too much plastic surgery done. It looks like maybe she has had some already. Shes smokin for her age tho. I agree she is starting to look older but she looks really good for her age.

reply

she looks airbrushed to the limit in some part of the movie. and that mix of fake tan and make up makes her look even older

reply

She's 38 yet looks to be at least 45. Too much drinking and all-nighters I think.

reply

Damn right! I though the same. She looks old, compare her to Demi Moore for example (and she is even older!). Probably she is aging faster because she doesn't have kids and husband or steady boyfriend etc.... at her age she should be settled already.

reply

it was a god movie but my only problem was diaz...she just looks OLD !!! on posters and in the movie !!! i think they tried every possible angle to make her look ugly and OLD !!!

reply

It was a god movie? Jeez, I must have missed that bit. It's a pity you don't hold yourself to the standards you apply to others. Although to be fair a 36/37 year old (which she was when the film was shot) will always look old to a 14-uear old.

reply

48 in the face, but a very nice shape.

Not everyone can age like Monica Bellucci or Sandra Bullock.

reply

She has a nice body, but here face is aged horribly. Looks 45+ .Not hot at all

reply

You lot are hyper-critical, and this conversation has no basis in reality.

All the way through this I was thinking how beautiful she looked. Yes, she is older (than she was), and so inevitably will you be.

It's a shame that we can't compare any of you with her at the same age.

reply

When you are a in demand movie actress, then people expect the best and far above people who are just average in looks. Sorry but that's life in Hollywood... and considering what she USED to look like compared to now, it's a huge difference. On any blog you go to it's the same thing.. people commenting on how old she looks now.. 100,000 people saying the same thing can't be a fluke.
