Seriously what is wrong with this movie? Is it the best movie ever? No. Did it even make my top ten? Of course not. That being said this movie was a lot of fun. Cameron diaz was hot as hell(as always) and her performance wasn't that bad. The plot was surprisingly uncomplicated, interesting, and easy to follow for a spy movie. The dialogue was believable and the comedic jokes and one liners were hilarious. And of course let's talk about the best part of the movie, Tom Cruise. Was he just playing another Ethan hunt but without the gadgets? Maybe but my God just look at how much fun he's having, you can tell he really enjoyed himself in this and his comedic action based performance made this movie awesome. It's not trying to take itself seriously and it shouldn't,it is what it's trying to be which is a fun action romantic comedy. Id say its worth a watch

Tom Cruise is the problem. He has consistently bypassed the studios and traditional movie financing which has cost a lot of money that could have gone to the usual Hollywood douches. It has also made Tom Cruise incredibly wealthy.
Cruise is essentially an independent. He has a partner in most of his ventures. She's usually listed as the first producer in the credits.
The other problem is that he keeps making movies that people go and see. Nothing is more aggravating to a "critic" than someone you dislike making tons of money from well attended films.
Cruise doesn't care about awards. He does what he likes, does most of his own stunts and seems to enjoy his life. Isn't that reason enough to hate him?

Yes, the film claimed to "guarantee this movie is a spy movie (whatever that means) and will deliver on all of rishabh-64113's expectations of it as part of the spy movie genre".

Oh wait, no it didn't.

You came to see it with expectations of a different experience. that doesn't make it a poor film. It makes you an unprepared viewer.

I give you 2/10 as a viewer. You came unprepared.
