Missed the end!

Can anyone tell me what happened after the two women (the learner and the driving school owner) were sitting on a park bench, and discussing Chris and the baby situation? I missed it!

I can't remember all of it but fiona said she actually loved chris so beverly told her to ring him.

Also beverly received the smurf in the post (most imporant part of story for me as smurf's rock) and her son ran to her saying one of the owls were ill and the eggs wouldn't survive without their mum. The dad wasn't there so beverly took the owls, their eggs and her on to the vet which she had to drive to get there. I think it was the mottorway she had to go on to get there which sorta imporved her confidence in driving (i think) and her cop friend helped her get there (by going in fornt and after her car dunno why). Beverly's husband turned up at the vet and the eggs and owls were fine as they took them there. Then she told her duaghter that she would buy her 10 driving lessons when she was older and the whole family hugged.

Fiona rang him and left a message where she said sorry and almost said 'i love you' but she ran out of time/credit but chris was listening to the message next to the phone. Then chris came back to the driving school place and offered fiona a bag of peardrops which i guess symboloises them back together.

Then beverly took her test again (with new zealand examiner) while her husband, fiona, chris and two of her driving people friends waited in anticipation. Then she returned there and there was a scream from beverly which everyone thought she had failed. but she came out all happy saying that she passed.

The last scene is her in her new car which has her company sign on it ("Dial a green cleaner") and her going in and out of a parking space. then the credits.

Hope this was clear enough but i'm good at retelling things i've seen.

It is actually illegal for a learner driver to drive on the motorway (as well as being unaccompanied by a driver who is over 18 and held their licence for three years) so "her cop friend" was escorting her through traffic to get to the vets in time for the owls survival rather than pulling her over and fining her/points on her licence or prison time.

Have just watched this again - Bev was driving on a dual carriage way when she was taking the owls to the vet (note the green background of the road sign as she's driving down the slip road - motorway signs have a blue background in the UK - plus there are only two lanes not three as is usually the case with a motorway). But her son, Alfie, wasn't wearing his seatbelt in the back seat of the car in the scenes where Gerry blue lights her car, despite her telling him to put it on when they leave home, so that is illegal!
