Could anyone tell me who the "Katinka" is? The film is dedicated to her at the very end. Thanks, in advance.

I´m pretty sure, that "Katinka" is the childhood best friend of Director
Sandra Nettelbeck. She, Katinka, was suffering from depression, and committed suicide in 1995. It was this sad event, that drove Ms. Nettelbeck toward the issue of depression, and that inspired her to make the movie "Helen".
In my opinion, a beautiful gesture to honour a late friend.
