Best movie I see on depression so far.

There is not enough of these films made. Probably cause depression doesn't sell.
Maybe there are others but I haven't heard about them. This film Helen is definitely in that hell but she is surrounded by a few people who do care. But do you notice mostly everyone is fed up and scared for her and of her. But she has that one mentally ill friend... That I need so much... It's very hard to find someone that's 45 years old and to find a helping hand. It just doesn't exist. Of course Helen pulled through like the Hollywood sht. But the girl jumped off the roof... That's the core of mental illness. You win or lose.
I suffer from mental illness like this but it's almost worse but Helen is pretty accurate on my really bad days in some ways her condition is worse than mine. She is in a suicidal tailspin depression that's horrifying. Mine is Isolation mental illness. No friends no companions. Your all alone with yourself. That it changes you over time. To the point of chronic social anxiety.
Basically your all alone with yourself that you can't stand yourself.
But you get so used to it. Sleeping and waking up year in and year out become like non stop high speed traffic. Going out becomes almost impossible except for the most necessities but you end up driving home... fast. You stay alive and you don't know why. You lose sense of who you are. You basically go on auto pilot. But your basically miserable every second of your life. That no one likes. And you distrust and dislike everyone. Have I made myself clear.
And getting help is the biggest con of the human condition. You see those hospital people and how cold they are. IT'S FREAKING TRUE. IT'S REAL. Cause think they know how to deal with people with this kind of condition. Help groups are scarce and they usually are lame. Your screwed with your demise.
But you'll know you will die. So your in for the longgggg haul . And that's how you cope. But in actuality it completely sucks.
You don't go anywhere or do anything. And you whole life is celibate and empty.

I love Alberta Watson especially in Spanking the Monkey. Where I ahh your love life is on celluloid.

Couldn't have described it better myself.
I'm only halfway through the movie, and I gotta say, it better not have a happy ending...that would be so unrealistic.
Her significant other better eventually leave, because that's what happens in real life...
Off to finish it...
