best acting was near the end

I think the interview with Cheryl was the best moment in film.

I agree. Although the interview with Cheryl makes no sense without that which happens prior to it, I really think that this scene in particular is one of the most disturbing in the movie. Very convinced by her acting.

reply

Yeah that was a well acted scene.

Lose the Game!!!!!!!

Yes! That is probably what made the whole thing take on another level of disturbed. The actress did an amazing job, really.

It was easily the best scene from the film. Was not sure if they hinted she had some of her arm missing beforehand but when she lifted it for the camera unexpectedly I was pretty shocked.

reply

Yeah... I watched this film yesterday...

The bit when she scratched her head with the stump was the most *beep* up bit of the entire film. I think it's because we didn't see any evidence that she was mutilated at all.... and then it just sort of... drops that fact in there with something so subtle as a head scratch.

I didn't think the film was super amazing, but it had some great moments like that.

reply

Yes! That was such a great part of the scene, which was excellent overall. This film actually had a few ingenious moments like that.

I don't recall ANY warning, which is why it was so effective. They described a ton of her injuries, so we're left with those in mind. Then the stump comes up... Is it her only stump? Doubtful.

We've met before, haven't we?
