Confused

In the dialogue, everyone kept speaking inconclusively by answering questions with more questions and "what ifs," and "suppose"s. Even the question about whether Jake and the Prince was actually a real affair, or rather a media ploy concocted by the father with the son's help, was confusing. And, was the last scene supposed to be Adam and Abigail preparing to film a new media piece exposing what was on the video of Jake and the Prince? What was actually on the video? It seemed nothing was clearly conclusive. Did anyone else get something definitive out of the ending?

So am I. What happened in the scene near the end of the film where Adam (the protagonist) is brought to the large country house? He meets Jake's father and discovers that Jake is, in fact, NOT dead. Jake and Jake's father sit on the couch and stare at Adam. Adam says something to indicate that a lighbulb has finally gone off in his head but nothing definitive is said.

IS THE PRINCE REALLY GAY? DID JAKE IN FACT HAVE AN AFFAIR WITH THE PRINCE? IS BEN (ADAM'S FRIEND) REALLY DEAD? WHY DOES AMY HAVE THE REACTION SHE DOES WHEN LOOKING AT THE MUCH SOUGHT-AFTER FILM?

Any one have any ideas? I was mildly enjoying the film up to the last three minutes. I do agree with the other reviews, though, about too many plot lines and too many stylistic changes.
