The fragmented talking may be clone 'problems'

I loved the nature vs nurture aspect of this film. The fragmented dialogue has bothered others from former posts.

My thoughts were the fragmented speaking could have been because:
1. It was a developmental issue from cloning

2. (And I like this idea better :) ) The clones have a "part" of their own within the universe competing for its own place. Could they telepathically be communicating to one another? This may be a fault line of sorts.

Please know I'm not a scientist so this may seem absurd. To me, it seems a thought worth exploring. Anyone else?
