Am I alone in thinking it was a joke trailer at the start?

I have to be honest, when I first saw the first minute of so of the trailer I thought "OK, when's the joke coming" - mainly because it was so extraordinarily cheesy. Then I never came and I was left with something of a stunned expression on my face.

The "remember you're a NAVY SEAL" part was particularly gob-smacking.

Quite the most excruciatingly embarrassing trailer I've ever seen in my life. This should be handed out of DVD to film students as a warning.

i thought it was a joke trailer like scary movie. i literally LMAO out loud right in the theater, it was so ridiculous. it's insulting.

people here are saying it was made for southerners. hello, we are not so lame as to buy into this horse rubbish. it was totally stupid, and as i said, i LOL'ed
