The Foo Fighters owned the night. Their performance was so energetic and so amazing. I'm not saying the other performers were bad, because they weren't, but none of them compared to how incredible the Foos were. Plus, every single person in that stadium was singing along and going nuts during their set and for the others the crowd stood still. They were definitely the best act, they owned this entire event!

Let the pissing and moaning about Madonna and Rihanna start ...

Agreed. Foo Fighters and Metallica blew everyone else away Foos especially. It'd almost be worth going to Wembley just for their performances.

I watched this on surrround sound-subwoofer-etc, and FF rocked hard and fast and loud. Their performance gave me goosebumps....I was thinking, please let every rocker watch this performance because this is how RR is done!!!

Metallica didnt have the benefit of performing at night, which adds to the RR atmosphere, but they rocked into 2nd place.

Madonna was fine. She is a veteran entertainer and knows how to work the crowd. Not bad for a near-50 year old broad.

But the FF's were surreal!!!!!

No I have to agree - the Foos rocked the house. Of all the sets I saw - they had the crowd jumpin!

The Black Eyed Peas didn't do a bad job of getting the place up on their feet either.

very true and hopefully they will play at wembley stadium again because they will most definately sell out!!!!
