I believe it's July 18th at IFC theatre in NYC.

^^ Yeah, should be pretty limited in early July, unless you live in L.A. for the advance screening. If you're in a far-flung area (non-top 15 or 20 market), I'd say expect to look for it on DVD in the early fall. Just my random opinion...

when is this movie showing in the cinema nationwide? or it is in selected cities only? bummer as i live in a smaller city.

I don't believe you'll see this movie open nationwide. As it is, it only opened in major cities (not very many of them) and was available on demand on IFC Channel. I don't really understand how they decide where and when to release movies, but I guess because of lack of money these indie movies rely a lot on word of mouth. The reviews for the movie were mixed therefore it probably won't open to smaller cities and towns. Too bad, it's a sweet movie.

it was all right enough...its one of those things that if it came on tv in the middle of the night or the day---(and it definitely will eventually) it would be a perfectly fine time-filler. it wasn't the greatest thing ever--but the performances were good--and both Broderick and Alda are well worth watching. (and come on how many movies does either one of em get top billing in these days??)
