Ok, this bothers me...

Almost all of the comments I've read that are positive seem like they come from the same person(s). For example, when he/she writes about it, its formatted in pretty much the exact same way. They use a lot of dashes and caps for emphasis, like, "Gabrielle Anwar was great - LOVED the ending by the way." Also, they like to use the word "kudos" Kudos to the director, kudos to the writer, etc. It bothers me because I'm not that naive to believe these are all from fans. There's also more tells that they are just shills, you'll notice 'em... like when they talk about how they didn't see the "twist" coming, or how they loved the subplots. I won't bash the movie, I just had to call them out to show him/her that we're not dumb. Ok, I'm done :)

It shouldn't come as a surprise. The marketing ploy is about as hackneyed, obvious, and ineffectual as the movie itself.

Yes, I killed Yvette. I hated her sooo much. F - flames, on the sides of my face - heaving, breath-

Funny part is this movie started off with a 7.5 rating.

Shills are all over the message board for this flakey movie.

The 10 star reviews that paint a great picture of this flick are all by someone who made thier first review here. No further reviews by that person will be seen. I would bet an IP trace would lead every single positve review back to the director or the lame filming crew.
Sad sad movie that deserves MST3K treatment!

Man, I was way ahead of the curve on pointing these schmucks out. It's really sad how they have to hype their own craptastic movie. Whatever makes you feel better about yourself, I suppose.
