It was quite funny how she was complaining about the price of milk at the start of the movie.
Also, it is quite interesting that it wasn't brought up in the movie that she took away milk being provided to children in schools to save money. After all, it is one of the most notorious things she did.
The first shot of the film shows her snatching some milk - a clear reference!
In fact:
she did stop free school milk to schools as education sec. She did many far worse and more notorious things than that but it resonates
a) because she was a woman and
b) because Margaret Thatcher rhymes with milk snatcher
I never liked Mrs Thatcher, I could not stand her politics. I am the only person around who think that was one of the best things she ever did.
Then again the school I went to, they stored the milk next to the radiators and then gave it to us later in the morning, when it tasted off.
Tells you a lot about the sadism of teachers!
