Who wished it was actually a time travel movie?

The movie pointed to that with misdirection. The girl in the lift. The fact that Sarah spoke with a period accent and vocabulary.

I would have loved if that was the twist. Imagine if some slaves said they were from Egypt? As in the Egyptian empire?

I've seen it done on sci fi shows where people end up in a place that seems like the past but it's actually separate from all time, it's own universe or dimension.

The twist used was just the village.
