U.S. release
Does anyone know when this will be released in the U.S. I can hardly wait to see it. Thanks.
The IMDB page now says it will be released in US March 12, 2009. But I'm not sure if that is just limited release or not.
The Twitch article in the NewsDesk section says:
"Maya Entertainment will roll out Máncora in Los Angeles and Miami in the spring of 2009."
It will be released March 20, 2009 in the US. Release is limited
shareI'm not sure if it ever got the limited theatrical release or not, but Amazon has the dvd release slated for June 23rd 2009.
shareSomething is wierd about the release because only a day after it was supposed to come out, Amazon says that it is out of stock (similar on other store sites), and Netflix has only listed it as a dvd coming sometime in the future with no set release date. Overall I have no idea what the problem is, but hopefully they will soon announce what is going on or when they plan to bring the film to dvd.
I have recently seen that it is playing at several different Landmark Theaters under Maya Independent Film Series along with several other Latin American films.
