Do all of the Ghosthouse Underground new releases suck?

This is the second movie from their 8 that viewers are saying sucked. Has anyone seen all or most of them, and are any of them any good, or would I just be wasting my time to track them down?

I saw all of them and the only ones I enjoyed were Dark Floors, The Substitute, and Dance of the Dead.

They all look *beep* to me. My wife is watching this one (Room 205) right now and obviously i'm on here talking badly about it. Room 205 = 1/10. Horrible acting.

I've seen three of their recent releases; Room 205 (Kollegiet) wasn't perfect, but it would have been much better if they hadn't butchered it with overdubbing. I saw the theatrical release of Vikaren (The Substitute) before they ruined it, and it was quite fun (Paprika Steen was fantastic).

I've also seen Dance of the Dead which was incredibly fun, and a huge sold out hit at three screenings at SXSW this year. Fortunately, that's in English so they couldn't butcher that as well.

It's a damned shame they don't have faith in the films they buy, nor trust consumers to be literate. There seems to be some great horror films coming out of scandanavia these days, but ruining films with a 1970s ploy is just rude.

I've watched all except No Man's Land: The Rise of Reeker, and I have enjoyed them very much. The best for me was The Substitute them Room 205 (this one) and in third Dance of the Dead.

The movies in this series are much better than the second wave of the After Dark Horrorfest titles. The first wave was pretty good except for that really stupid one called The Hamaltons, but the second wave; I have bought them all and haven't liked any of them so far, though I haven't watched the all yet.

I need to catch No Man's Land: The Rise of Reeker, since I saw Reeker at SXSW a while back. It wasn't a mind-blowing great film, but definitely serviceable in the "midnight movie" category.

Just watched No Man's Land: The Rise of Reeker, cool movie but I'm not sure what happened. It has a very strange timeline, but it was interesting. Maybe it will take a second viewing to figure out everything, there was one unexplained death.

The Reeker movies I never saw.But this movie had it moments but is very stale at times.

Goes to show that there are bad horror movies outside the USA.

Dark Floors was great. Not everyone particularly cares for the Lordi monsters, but still really all around sound horror movie.

No Man's Land: The Rise of Reeker was very enjoyable though mostly a rehash of the same plot of the original Reeker. Worth watching as a fun movie.

Dance of the Dead was ok, not in the upper echelon of horror comedies but definitely way better than most pieces of crap out there.

The Thaw(not in original 8) is atrociously bad. Just. Oh my god, such a bad movie. I could never get past the fact these people were supposed to be in the arctic and running around in less clothes than I wear in doors, and the landscape had more green and less snow than a prairie. I just kept wanting to scream GLOBAL WARMING DOESN'T WORK THAT WAY every other scene. God, I hate this movie.

Others I don't remember enough to comment on.

(And yes, this is a year and a half old post I'm replying to, I know. I'm bored.)
