A couple of questions.

Well, i thought it was not that bad; i was nervous the whole time Jean Reno would somehow get screwed over but in the end it turned out fine.

But I have a couple of questions:

Was Jean Reno really Maxime or just another fellow con man who used that name to lure in the female cop? And if he was, why was he helping; maybe relates to my second question.

Was that chick really his daughter or not? At first it looked like no, but after the final reveal, I was like maybe she was. I mean if he was Maxime why would he help him out, unless that was the brother of his son in law that got killed.

And lastly there really were diamonds right? I mean they set up the cop and pulled off a con at the same time?

SPOILERS!!!!!

1) He was not Maxim, they use the name of this famous thief just because they know that the female cop was shoul need to find him to get the job she wanted. Maxime was probably elsewhere and we never see him really

2)Cash's wife was not the daugheter of Jean Reno'scharacter, in the end he jokes saying to her "would you marry me?", and she says that he has to ask her husband, so, haw could he be her father? The man is probably one of the gang or an actor payed for the role, just like everyone

3) The diamonds where there, but not in the caveau, that did not exist. Julia thinks that all the men are searching diamonds where they actually aren't, and she goes and take them personally from the room of real criminals. Cash's wife changes the bag when her son falls with the cop and so the criminals thinks that the female cop has the bag, while it's Cash's now.
