What's going on with Chelsea? She's barely trying nowadays.

I have also noticed that she doesn't seem to take the show as serious now. I questioned whether or not she was abusing alcohol. I mean, I know she jokes about drinking and doing drugs but didn't know if there was a real problem. She seems to have lost her passion and trips over her words more and more now. All this being said and I still watch her everyday lol. I still really like the show.

I think Chelsea tries harder than any other late night host these days. She did have a bit of a lull, but I believe she has since regained appreciation for her show.

I noticed that last year too. I think it was all of her traveling and being with her boyfriend. Maybe she lost herself for a while.
