Chelsea Lately final episode Tuesday, August 26, 2014.(4 months early).

E! is dumping Chelsea's show 4 months early with a live 1 hour finale Tuesay August 26. She was under contract with E! until the end of December. They had enough of her antics at E! but she will be paid 4 to 5 million for her early exit.

My big question is will she replaced as host with a new title or is the 1000% cancellation with the entire staff and crew being let go. There are around 70 people working for the show.

if she had any decency if the show itself is cancelled and not retooled with a host she would do a pay out to the employees. Thats what Jay Leno did. When he went off the air for a brief time he paid all the people that worked with him, and when he left for good he paid them all 3 months salary...

I dont see Chelsea doing this though... shes kinda a bitch and ungrateful. this show and network launched her career and she treats it like an embarrassment... Ive heard when you see her live on her comedy book tours she just rips the network apart.

She's been ripping into the network on Chelsea Lately too, not just her tours. But E aired the things she said about them instead of cutting it, so I guess they don't care what she says about them anymore and just want her gone. I don't know about the staff situation though, she's a bitch and ungrateful to E, but not her employee's.. but I think at this point she just wants to get out of there, so she's probably just thinking about herself.
