Jung Soo's hairpiece

When Eun Soo first runs into Young Hee, she tells him she is out in the forest looking for her sister's hairpiece. "It's a long story." I think Eun Soo eventually restores that hairpiece to them but I don't recall any explanation of its significance. Is it a red herring or did I overlook something?

I think that the hairpiece belonged to some adult who they killed. After they kill Byun's wife, Man Bok (I think) gives the youngest sister the ring that Byun's wife had been looking for. So probably there was some woman with a hairpiece that had come to the house or something~

was it not her sisters hair pin which was lost and later found.

At first I thought "hairpiece" referred to a wig! Silly me...

I do think the hair pin (or piece) belonged to a previous "mom".

The deacon's wife obviously had plans to make off w/some of the jewelry, but was told "you can't take things from here". I wonder if having an object from the house in your possession just brings you back to the house? Maybe one of the kids planted it on him? And I know one of the times Uncle left he had the map given to him by the boy.

On the other hand, I don't know if this is the case each time someone tried to leave. Seems that they'd catch on to it. Plus I think the forest was an extension of the kids' power.

So don't listen to me. :p
