so did Man-bok actually get his powers from "Santa"? It seemed it was just a guy in a costume being nice to the kids, so i dont know how he would give the powers to Man-bok. and did all 3 of the children have special abilities or just the boy?
shareI think Man-bok was the only one with real powers. I think he unlocked his powers after the guy dressed as Santa came. But to the kids, he looked like the real Santa. They were told their wishes would come true if they were good and really wanted it. So Man-bok started wishing really hard for stuff to happen, and it did because he already had powers.
shareThat's right - he already had powers, even before Santa came: the scene right before they meet Santa, he blows up the TV.
Santa encouraged him to start using it all the time - which is what led to the house ending up the way it was when the movie started.
