Audience was laughing the whole time, anyone else think funny?

I did not like the movie at all but....The audience was laughing through most of thye movie, so obviously the director did not accomplish the eerie weirdness of the movie. \

Anyone else think this movie was very funny?

I hate such audiences. I remember a number of people laughing themselves silly at a screening of Tarkovsky's "Stalker."

huh?

And I thought it was bad when the audience laughed at Star Trek (2009), but at least that was trying to be funny. Stalker's a classic, it shouldn't be ruined by such an audience!

The audience was laughing? What kind of mental illness these people had? No wonder why i avoid cinemas lately, people are just stupid.

I laughed at the scene where Eun Soo meets the family, and only because of the overly apparent terror of the parents. It was really odd and something you don't usually see, so I laughed because it was really the only way my own terror could cope with such a scene.

I'm a fan of dark comedy, and I get annoyed when audiences don't get that (like the one I was sitting among when I saw "Army of Darkness"), but I see almost nothing funny about this pic. I don't see why you or anyone else did, and I do think the film was eerie and strange.

Were they laughing in the scene where the youngest girl was going to be sexually abused by the paedophile and the older girl offered herself instead? Who could laugh at that but other paedophiles? Gross audience. I'm not even sure the OP wasn't lying.

The OP was definitely lying. He/she obviously didn't like the movie and is attempting to trivialize it.

People in theaters always laugh when they find something on screen awkward and it makes them uncomfortable.

reply

why cant they just be uncomfortable?, no one would blame them, might blame them for laughing.

I just watched it and believe you me, I ain't in the mood for laughing.
