Just watching this now... why on earth is Jesus white? Not just white but very obviously much whiter than the other cast?

Very odd casting choice.

i agree with the sentiment in that jesus was most definitely NOT white, however if you are making this statement assuming he was black you are also incorrect. Due to the location and the time-table he was undoubtedly of the same skin tone as an arab.
